In 2007, I started my studies in Chemistry at Philipps-University Marburg, Germany. I received my Bachelor Degree in Chemistry for my thesis on new scaffolds for aldo-keto-reductases supervised by Prof. Gerhard Klebe and Dr. Tobias Craan. Along with experiences in classical biochemistry and biophysics in the groups of Prof. Mohammed Marahiel and Prof. Lars-Oliver Essen (Philipps-University Marburg), I gained insights into theoretical chemistry, chemoinformatics and computer-aided drug design in the groups of Prof. Gernot Frenking and Prof. Gerhard Klebe (Philipps-University Marburg).
I received my Master Degree for my thesis on methodological development of DAIM (Decomposition and Identification of Molecules), which was supervised by Dr. Peter Kolb. I have been a grad student in the lab of Dr. Peter Kolb at Philipps-University Marburg since March 2013.
